Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day 2012

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. We remember all babies whom we carried but never met, all babies born sleeping, those we have held but could not take home, or those that came home but did not stay nearly long enough.

Local friends, there is a service at 7 tomorrow evening in Raleigh. Click here for more information. I'd love to have you there to honor and remember Lily's life with me. It is a beautiful evening of remembrance. I went to October 15th Raleigh in 2010. And last year, I was in Colorado at Ellerslie and got to go to Lily Lake, which was quite a special gift.

If you cannot make it here in Raleigh, there are special remembrance ceremonies all over the world. Wherever you are, light a candle at 7 p.m. (your local time) in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. If you light one for Lily, I'd love for you to take a photo of it to send to me, or just tell me about it. I'm wishing everyone a peaceful, beautiful day tomorrow as they honor the precious little ones of Heaven. ♥

  1. I thought of Lily tonight when I lit my candle. I wish that you were holding her in your arms today, rather than lighting a candle for her. God bless you both.
