Light the Night With Love

On September 15, two lovely ladies named Fran and Amanda hosted a beautiful event called Light the Night With Love in Katy, Texas. They released several sky lanterns in honor and memory of babies in Heaven. Lots of people attended in person and could release their own lantern, but they also included those that couldn't be there in person by writing our babies names on the lanterns and setting them free into the night. This was the first year and they plan to make it an annual thing. Hundreds of babies from all over the world were honored. I am so thankful to have others who love and remember my girl with me! Thanks for including her in this special event! :)

The lantern scene from the movie Tangled is where Fran got the inspiration for this event. It must be so beautiful and special to see the lanterns being released into the sky. I am going to have a sky lantern release for Lily's birthday at some point in the near future! :)

Sky Lantern Release Video

Thank you to Noah's mommy, Jenn, for including Lily and Luke in her sky lantern release that she had for Noah's 2nd birthday in Heaven. Those of us with babies in Heaven love seeing their names and having them remembered by others! You can read more about the release on Jenn's blog here.

Sky Lantern Release for Babies in Heaven

Hello readers :)

I just wanted to let my babyloss friends know that Jenn from Treasuring Life's Blessings is doing a special sky lantern release on July 13, in honor of her son, Noah's, 2nd Heavenly Birthday celebration. She wants to include as many babies as possible on the lanterns.


What Jenn says on her blog:

"The lanterns I got are 36" tall so there is plenty of room to include MANY names. If you'd like to help us celebrate, you may either leave a comment here with your baby's name or you can email me. Before we release the lanterns, I will take pictures of all the names and post them here so you can see your precious baby's name as I know how much it means to see their name in writing. Please feel free to pass this along to other baby loss families in your circles/blogs as well. It would bless & encourage me to include as many babies names as possible."
