I remember seeing Lily's tiny white coffin and thinking how strange it was that they even have to make them that small. Seems so unnatural. Shouldn't coffins be used for people who have lived long and full lives, with children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren?? Not for babies who never took a single breath.
I found your blog through another site. I lost my twin boys in January and I could not agree with you more about the coffin sizes. We chose to cremate our boys, but I remember thinking how incredibly sad it was that there was a need to make urns so small. I can't bring myself to ever look inside it. The coffin you chose for your little one is beautiful.
