Clinging to Hope

A loving mother left this comment this morning on one of my blog posts about stillbirth: "Our sweet baby James would have turned 26 this past Father's Day and I still think of him daily. He is missing from every family photograph, every holiday gathering, and every plan for the future."

Oh sweet mama, since your comment was anonymous, I don't know who you are and can't reply directly to you. I want you to know that your words deeply touched this mother heart of mine. In just a few short sentences, you captured what infant loss feels like, even decades later. Stillbirth can feel so very isolating and lonely, but other mothers who've been through it as well remind us we're never truly alone in this.

As long as we're living, our babies they'll be.

Keep clinging to Hope. ❤️
